Choir :D Charity Dinner JSLC

Choir Smk Infant Jesus Convent

Well i think a quarter or more of the choir that is XD

On the 29th of November

there was a Charity dinner held by the Johor student counsel

for special kids

The school choir was ask to preform x]

We sang our Muhibah medley or "Getaran Jiwa" and

Michael Jackson's " We are the world " with sign language :D *we are so pro* :P

Hahaha as usual training was hard but it was just to get our

voice projection and the smoothness? of our voices

I think we have a problem with the smoothness

because we werent entirely singing with our diaphragm

so we sounded rough ?

nevertheless we still had to do our best

So when the day came , we boarded onto the bus and went to Persada Johor

for the rehearsal at like 2 o'clock maybe ? or earlier

but we had to wait there till 5 ++ for the freaking rehearsal to begin ...

in which cut our early dinner and changing time very much D:

When we got back to school for dinner and to get dress it was 5.30 plus

Me and yolander scarfed downed the food and change quickly

We ate hamburger and fries :D

Yup so as usual warm up and we went to persada den den den XD

Wooooo we had to share a waiting room with the special kids and another

bunch of performers it was okay abit tight and squeezed but we managed

Then we moved down 2 levels where KFC was

no sadly we didnt get to eat KFC

to warm up again ~ just to make sure we are ready

we trained for an hour or so ?

X] That day was moral for Spm peeps

I texted kor asking if moral was okay he replied with an ok and a smiley

Lols denise and yolander gave me death glares and warning not to text back XD

but meh :P i didnt listen

and finally !!

SHOW TIME

gosh it was so nerve wrecking to wait outside that door DX

everyone was jittery and excited

We sang quite well , but i think we were screaming our lungs out as

the hall was super huge and it was pack with people to top it off it was padded -.-

that was bad

because people and padded walls absorb the sound and there was only 40 of us D:

so we sounded a little bit soft i guess

But we're still proud of ourselves for pulling it off :D

and like any other event when its over

what do convent girls do best ?

Hahahaha It was a fun day and the journey was awesome as well

One of the privileges of being in convent is

BEING a convent choir girl :']
